How do I know what the ingredients smell like and what to blend?
Use the fragrance blotters to get acquainted with the ingredients and identify the ones you like. You can also put different blotters together to explore how they smell together before blending. The final fragrance will depend on the proportions you use.
How do I know what to blend if I don’t have any perfumery experience?
Follow the guide and explore the ingredients through their top, middle, and base notes. The ingredients are grouped according to their role in the fragrance, making it easier to understand what each one contributes.
How long does it take to create a fragrance?
The process takes approximately 30–45 minutes, from unboxing to your first fragrance.
How do I get the ingredients from the vials into the bottles without spilling?
Use the precise disposable pipette droppers provided with the kit. Count the ingredients drop by drop into your glass bottle rather than pouring them by hand.
How many raw material vials are included in a Scent Portal kit?
